Make Food an Election Issue!

Food Secure Canada as has launched its Eat Think Vote (ETV) Campaign where community members across Canada get to talk with federal candidates ahead of the upcoming election. The idea is to make sure that food is an election issue, and that the incoming government develops policy that encourages a food system where no one goes hungry, and where food is healthy and sustainable. The recent release of a Food Policy for Canada makes this campaign particularly timely (Read more).

There are more than 50 events taking place across the country as part of the ETV campaign, and four are happening in Toronto! Get to know your local candidates and learn more about why food is an election issue at these events!
