TransformTO works with the Toronto Food Policy Council to add FOOD to Toronto’s Climate Change Action Plan

TransformTO is the City of Toronto’s Climate Action Strategy. Right now, the TransformTO team is working on the Implementation Plan for 2021-2023. For the first time, food is going to be part of the plan. The Toronto Food Policy Council looks forward to working with the TransformTO team tap into the GHG reduction potential of food. One third of all GHGs come from the food system! There is lots that can be done to change that figure, and TFPC members are ready to help!
